Not everyone is good with blending MCT oil and butter into their coffee and that’s ok. I know I tried and it didn’t work for me.
Personally, MCT oil, like coconut oil, just doesn’t play nice with me. I’ve tried repeatedly, with the same results each time. The health benefits of coconut oil and the health claims for MCT Oil are amazing, but my digestive system just doesn’t handle either well. Pro Tip #1: Blend your Fatty Coffee in a Magic Bullet Blender. Put the fat in the bullet first, then pour a little coffee on top to melt it. Once it’s melted, add more coffee but not enough to fill the Bullet cup. You want a couple of inches of headroom. Then blend away.
Once your fatty coffee is frothy, pour the contents into your coffee mug. Top with a sprinkle of cinnamon or apple pie spice mix, if you like! You can also add a little more coffee to top off your mug if you need it.
