Who are the founders?

My name is Stacey Davis, and my wife, Angela, and I run Magic Meals Home Delivery out of our own home in Topeka, Kansas.  We have two wonderful children; Evander who is three and a half and Marley who is one and a half.

When we were planning for our first child, we were really struggling with the idea of having children while knowing that our hectic jobs would keep us away from our new family.  Choosing to have children and then hiring someone else to raise those kids just wasn’t a sacrifice we were ready to make.  So, instead, we chose to opt out of the rat-race and create a whole new way of making a living. 

For the past five years we have been self-employed, working out of our own home, and doing something in which we take great pride. We spend our mornings with their kids either playing or working in the garden. Then we transition into our workday. During the day, we take turns working and playing with our kids.  Everyone takes a break for lunch and nap time.  Our life is the good life.

Our meal solutions business provides meals for those in our community who most need assistance. We specialize in preparing and delivering Senior Meals, Weight Loss Meals, Medically Restricted Diets, and Short Term Meal Solutions.  Our business really helps people and we do it while working from home.

Now we are sharing our business model with the hope that we can help other families discover a better way of living.  People often ask why we have decided to share our business model instead of franchising or opening multiple locations.  The answer is simple; we love our life the way it is.  While we get emails and phone calls from people around the country who encourage us to open a ‘store’ near them, we don’t want to live that way.  We love being home with our children, we love knowing the people we serve, we love buying locally and supporting our community.  We love our life.

Still, we want to help more people while preserving our lifestyle.  The way we have chosen to do this is by offering our business model at a very affordable price to make it accesible to everyone and not just the independently wealthy.  We have compiled five years of experience into a set of tools available to people who are looking of a better way of making a living while actually living. Our goal is to give new business owners every advantage that we enjoy in our established business.  We have done that through the Advantage Success Plan that we have created.

We know this plan works because it has already worked for our family.  We work together as a family every day of our lives, and we schedule our work days around the things we value most in life.  We are raising our own children in the comfort of our own home while making a comfortable living.  We are proud of how we live, and we know that our business makes our community a better place.

This is more than a business for us.  We are idealists who believe that the business model we have created can help families work at home together, can help communities thrive, and can change the way America eats.  We are dreamers, and so far we have achieved all of our dreams.  We hope you will join us.
